A report published in Journal of Obesity exposed the connection between benefits of eating almonds and weight loss.

A group of experts led by Michelle Wien Dr. P.H., R.D., mentioned that almonds being dense in nutrients, usually keep craving at bay. A person who maintains an unhealthy diet, the brain will always send hunger signals to the body, thus leading to over eating and hence weight gain.

To break this cycle, eating almond regularly is one of the solutions. Almonds are effective in suppressing the cravings. Almonds contain monounsaturated fat, protein, and fiber which help feel fuller for longer period of time.
